on one other person’s comment (overall you should have three things posted)

motivation explanations (jealousy, fear, love, additional emotion) –I will
check them tomorrow during the quiz
*What does John
Proctor mean when he says, “God is dead!” (end of act 3)? Why does he say it at
this point? What does the rest of his speech to those in the court mean (pg 120)? What do
others think he means? Discuss with
partner, jot down notes
